On Aug. 3 residents of Eskaton Village Placerville were given the opportunity to interact and pet many “out of the norm” animals. Members of the community brought out animals including alpacas and llamas as well as miniature horses, silkie chickens, parakeets, a rabbit, guinea pig and even a hairless rat.
